Our goal is to foster bilateral trade relations between Germany and New Zealand and support German businesses that want to establish a presence here. ABOUT OUR INTERNSHIPS We are pleased to offer 6-month internships to students from Germany. Our internships are broadly split into two areas: Research and Events. Our interns receive complete training in these areas but are also expected to work independently. As Research Assistant, your main focus is on assisting with projects, carrying out research, writing and editing reports, supporting business representation clients and general office administration. Your market research tasks offer a great opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of New Zealand and German industry sectors and of our members. The Events & Communications Assistant primarily assists with event management, website & social media administration as well as ad hoc trade fair activities. We are seeking an individual who can think creatively, approach every aspect of his/her content creation and delivery in a non-conventional way that sets new standards of communication and event management. Advantages for this position are TYPO3 and HubSpot experiences. At the GNZCC you will experience a friendly and motivating work environment and be able to work independently on diverse tasks. The internship is covered by a scholarship that breaks down to NZD 250 per week. You can also apply for a scholarship in Germany – contact your university regarding scholarships. REQUIREMENTS To apply for our 6-month internship positions you should be a student in your final years of studies with excellent written and spoken German. Excellent English skills (both written and spoken) are very important as well. Also, a good understanding of Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is necessary and basic knowledge of HubSpot and Typo3 will be an advantage.
