Oktoberfest 2022 Terms & Conditions

  • ‘You’, ‘your’ or ‘I’ refers to the customer. ‘We’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refers to the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce Inc. This ‘agreement’ means these
  • terms and conditions and any other conditions specified by us on our booking form.
  • Once this booking form is received by us, your booking is confirmed subject to availability and payment made by you.
  • Bookings are non-refundable; however, you may transfer your admission ticket or table reservation to another person.
  • Food and Beverage tokens are non-refundable.
  • Although we will endeavour to adhere to the publicised package contents, you accept that we and/or the event organisers have the right to alter elements of the event, including any advertised personal appearances, in our sole discretion.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability of any nature for the acts, omissions or default of those providing services in connection with your event or any liability for any for any injury, damage, loss delay or additional expenses which are incurred at or in association with this event. Where legislation implies any condition or warranty which cannot be excluded or modified, that condition or warranty will be deemed to be included in this agreement. However, our liability for any breach of such condition or warranty will be limited, at our option, to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services supplied again. In no event will we be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary or special damages.
  • You acknowledge that neither we nor the event organiser will be responsible for any loss or damage to property (including personal property such as bags, money or other personal items) brought to or purchased at the event by you or your invitees.
  • You will be liable for any loss or damage caused at the event by you, your directors, employees, agents, contractors or invitees.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or postpone an event for any reason, including if the event does not meet minimum attendance levels. If we cancel an event you will receive a credit that can be used for future events or services provided by us.
  • You must ensure that your invitees act in an orderly manner when attending the event and must not (and must ensure that your invitees do not) bring any food or beverage into the event area.
  • We may refuse entry or evict you or any of your invitees if they are behaving in a drunken, disorderly or inappropriate manner.
  • Pursuant to your booking, we may need to collect and keep personal information about you including your name, address, credit card or payment details, telephone number and the names of your attendees and invitees. Unless you tell us otherwise, we may disclose your contact details to third parties so they can provide you with promotional material about other events. We may also need to disclose your personal information as required by law or as permitted under the Privacy Act.
  • Events organised by us may be photographed or filmed for use in our newsletters, website and other publications for promoting the work of the GNZCC. The database of the attendees may be shared with the principal sponsor. If you do not wish your picture taken, or your details to be shared, please let us know.
     

 

Cancellation Policy: 
Cancellations must be received 7 clear working days prior to the event. Substitutions are permitted if you can no longer attend.

Media Policy: 
Events organised by the GNZCC may be photographed or filmed for use in the GNZCC newsletters, website and other publications for promoting the work of the GNZCC. The database of the attendees may be shared with the principal sponsor. If you do not wish your picture taken, or your details to be shared, please let us know.

Privacy Policy: 
The provision of your data takes place via a web application on the internet. Therefore the confidentiality, the integrity (inviolability), the authenticity and the availability of personal data cannot be guaranteed.

Events in the COVID-19 Protection Framework: 
As members of the business community, the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce will be taking every step possible to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our members, guests, business partners, and staff. The German Chamber endeavours to host events that allow you to network, enjoy, and celebrate successes as a business, while doing so safely.
In-line with the NZ Government’s COVID-19 Protection Framework, which outlines a traffic light system for managing COVID-19, German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce will be following these guidelines.

In the Green & Orange Settings: The German Chamber will be hosting in-person and online events in-line with the Government guidelines.
In the Red setting: The German Chamber will deliver online events and if possible events under 100 capacity.  This is to ensure the safety of all our members, business, staff, and the general public.
