Auckland, December 2023 - The German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (GNZCC) is pleased to announce the release of the 17th edition of our bilingual trade magazine "Double the Vision".

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to this year’s milestone edition of our Double the Vision publication as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary of the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce Incorporated (GNZCC) and 70 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and New Zealand. For the Chamber, these celebrations culminated in a wonderful Gala Anniversary event held in Auckland in October, attended by our Members and business partners. A feature of the evening was the announcement of the winners in our inaugural GNZCC Business Awards. These awards recognise best in-
class achievement amongst our member organisations across a range of different business disciplines, as well as member contributions to the advancement of German New Zealand trade and trade relations. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in helping make our 40th Gala Anniversary year such a successful one and to congratulate all our Business Award category finalists and winners. You will find related articles and photos for your viewing pleasure within this publication. The past 2 years “post-Covid” have continued to throw up plenty of challenges for the global business community. The ongoing resilience of business and the ability of business people to adapt has been truly remarkable and something to be admired. Resilience and adaptability are just two positive qualities amongst many that Germans and Kiwis have in common. Not unsurprisingly, these positive attributes flow through their companies as well. We, therefore have good reason to be optimistic about the future of our German-New Zealand bilateral relations and ongoing growth in our 2-way trade opportunities. At the GNZCC, we stand ready to support you, both now and in the future, as we look ahead with optimism towards our 50th anniversary in a decade’s time.
