Auckland, November 2025 - The German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (GNZCC) is pleased to announce the release of the 19th edition of our bilingual trade magazine "Double the Vision".
This year, Double the Vision again captures important topics within the German–New Zealand business relationship, highlighting the work of the Chamber and its member companies. Not to be left out is the tangible impact of the EU–NZ Free Trade Agreement, which came into force on 1 May 2024. In 2025, we have seen that agreement begin to deliver real benefits, unlocking new opportunities for bilateral trade and collaboration across industries. From the success of the GNZCC Business Awards Gala in May 2025, where excellence in sustainability, innovation, and leadership was celebrated, to the growing momentum of joint ventures in aerospace, construction, and clean energy, this edition reflects a community thriving on shared values and forward-thinking action. Our Business Awards winners, Fruehauf NZ Ltd, Tax Traders and Taxi, Everllence (formerly known as MAN Energy Solutions), FABRUM, Wyma Solutions and Aquila Clean Energy exemplify the spirit of transnational cooperation that defines our Chamber.
2025 also saw the GNZCC host the first Made in Germany pavilion at Fieldays, the largest agricultural show in the southern hemisphere, and a successful repeat of the BuildNZ German Pavilion, showcasing the best of German building materials and technology. We will finish the year with the Resilient Waters Conference. These activities have not only fostered dialogue but have laid the groundwork for future growth.
As we look ahead, Double the Vision remains your guide to the evolving landscape of German–New Zealand trade. Whether you are seeking inspiration, connection, or opportunity, we invite you to explore the stories within and join us in shaping the next chapter of this remarkable partnership, through connecting with the GNZCC, learning from the articles here and the workshops and webinars offered to members and growing through collaboration.
