Lucie Samcová – Hall Allen, the EU Ambassador-Designate to New Zealand, met with Joerg Schmidt, CEO of the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce, to discuss opportunities for strengthening economic ties between New Zealand and Europe.
Their discussion covered the business climate in both regions, the importance of education in AI-driven societies, and opportunities for collaboration across the Pacific.
They also highlighted the positive business stories emerging from the New Zealand–EU Free Trade Agreement, which is creating new opportunities for trade, investment and closer commercial cooperation.
