In our recent Export 101 Deep Dive session on 24 September 2026, we explored Germany’s Mittelstand – the network of small and medium-sized enterprises that forms the backbone of the German economy – and how clusters, industry networks and business alliances shape market access.

Together with Katrin Lange from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Düsseldorf (IHK Düsseldorf), we looked at what German companies value in international partners, including reliability, technical expertise, quality, thorough documentation and a long-term commitment.

The session also offered practical insights into the role of chambers and industry networks, and how New Zealand businesses can build stronger connections and position themselves for success in the German market.

Thank you to Katrin Lange and IHK Düsseldorf for sharing their expertise, and to everyone who joined us!
