Event celebrating EU-NZ Free Trade Agreement entry into force | Delegation of the European Union to New Zealand

"On May 15 in Auckland, an event was held to mark the entry into force of the EU-NZ Free Trade Agreement. EU Ambassador Lawrence Meredith, Minister of Trade Todd McClay, former Minister of Trade Damien O'Connor, and European Ambassadors, joined by business representatives, welcomed the FTA. The EU-NZ FTA brings immediate benefits for New Zealand's horticulture, wine, and seafood industries, while also offering opportunities for European investment in green energy and digital innovation.
