You’ll need to genuinely find New Zealand and the Tourism Industry exciting so you can share this with our customers, as well as desire to commit to the role for a minimum of 2 years. Fluent Speaking and writing skills in German are absolutely essential.

Your role:
In this role you will combine your passion and knowledge for New Zealand to create unique tour arrangements for the European traveller. You will communicate with travel agents overseas to develop and foster strong business relationships.
Once a tour confirms, you will manage all all communications with overseas agents and be responsible for the successful running of your tour. You’ll oversee bookings with all our suppliers and prepare accurate and detailed tour documentation for our Guides so they can effectively run the trip.
There will be a wide variety within your workload – no day will be the same.
Skills needed
Essential:
- Expert knowledge of New Zealand with particular emphasis on the range of destinations, activities and experiences available
- Speaking and writing skills in German (Fluent German speaker essential)
- Experience within a travel agency or tourism business
- Experience with Salesforce & Tourwriter
Desirable:
- A sociable and open attitude
- Takes ownership and does whatever possible to exceed our customers’ expectations
- Proven flexibility and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced office environment
- Process driven with a very high level of accuracy
- Computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new systems
