The Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and New Zealand, signed in Brussels on 9 July 2023, will enter into force on 1 May 2024. The agreement removes customs duties and bureaucracy that European firms face when exporting to New Zealand.
In preparation for the entry into force, sectoral information leaflets as well as a detailed guide with special SME focus is now available online. The materials can be accessed both under the Access2Markets portal and under the DG Trade page for the EU – New Zealand Free Trade Agreement.
