Why Wellington?

The GNZCC has strong industry connections, and now with our new location in Wellington we will increase our ability to advocate on behalf of our industry members to influence policy. We are proud of the long tradition of bilateral trade and investment partnership between New Zealand and Germany, and we are working hard to strengthen and consolidate those ties further.  Germany remains one of New Zealand’s key uplift partners and of huge significance to our import and export sectors, being one of our top 10 trade partners. With negotiations for an EU-NZ Free Trade Agreement well underway, Germany is a strong supporter in favour of this FTA.
