The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany's cultural institute, active worldwide. Goethe-Institut New Zealand is based in Wellington. It promotes the teaching and learning of German abroad including language courses in Wellington, Auckland and online and encourages international cultural exchange.
