The German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Neurofanos, an innovative AI-driven startup and winner of the New Zealand competition, has been selected as one of eight finalists for the Future AI—Startup Pitch Award at APK 2024, the Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business.

For the first time in its history, APK is offering an award specifically for startups in the field of artificial intelligence. As one of the finalists, Neurofanos will have the incredible opportunity to compete against leading startups from across the Asia-Pacific region. The event, held in New Delhi, India this October, will feature a live pitch competition in front of business leaders from Germany and the Asia-Pacific. Neurofanos will take the stage alongside German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Dr. Robert Habeck.

Neurofanos is at the forefront of innovation, delivering an advanced AI-powered neuronavigation tool that enhances precision and safety in neurosurgery. Led by CEO Hamid Abbasi, Neurofanos is committed to revolutionizing surgical practices and contributing to the future of healthcare.

It’s incredibly exciting to see a New Zealand company like Neurofanos stepping onto the world stage. Their innovative work in AI and healthcare is a testament to the talent and creativity within our business community. I’ll be there at APK 2024 to cheer them on, and I know they will make New Zealand proud,” said Monique Surges, CEO of the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce.

Congratulations to Hamid Abbasi and the entire Neurofanos team. We wish them the best of luck at APK 2024.
