Join Our Team as Business Support Coordinator!

The German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (GNZCC) is dedicated to fostering business connections and creating opportunities between Germany and New Zealand. We are excited to invite a dynamic and motivated Business Support Coordinator to join our vibrant small Wellington branch. In this full-time role, you will also assist our Service and Project Team in delivering top-notch consulting and project services to German and New Zealand companies. 

This is not your typical support role, it will engage you in a variety of topics and industries, offering you the chance to gain insights into international trade, business consulting, and cross-cultural relations. 

Please note: Due to the time difference with Germany, some night calls will be required. 

 

What you'll Do: 

Wellington Branch Support

  • Plan, manage, and attend events to connect members, businesses, and political parties
  • Provide support in member liaison activities
  • Deliver office and administrative support 
  • Support the Wellington Regional Manager in various tasks

 

Services Support

  • Respond to enquiries regarding market information and market entry for both Germany and New Zealand
  • Create quotes and follow up on enquiries
  • Coordinate in-house research and meetings with customers and the Service Team
  • Serve as the first point of contact for our business representation service 'Office in Office' 
  • Liaise with German members and clients as needed
  • Conduct research and draft texts on industry and market-specific topics
  • Assist in service and project delivery

 

Who You Are:

  • You are fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages 
  • You have a background in business support, assistant roles, project coordination, customer support or a related field
  • You have a strong customer service orientation, with ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and understand and meet client’s needs
  • You have strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • You are proficient in using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable with learning new software and digital tools
  • You are collaborative and enjoy working as part of a small, high-performing team
