WWF-New Zealand and thinkstep ANZ invite you to a hands-on workshop on setting meaningful Carbon Targets

Carbon target – set it like you mean it

Due to great demand attendance is limited to two people per organisation. Thanks for your understanding.

Carbon targets are no longer a nice to have. They are a license to operate! Carbon targets increase resilience and deliver tangible business value:

79% of companies setting targets report it has boosted their brand reputation, 63% say it’s driven innovation and 52% state investor confidence has been boosted.

WWF-New Zealand and thinkstep ANZ invite you to a hands-on workshop which will explore through local case studies, a panel discussion and an interactive session the following topics:

  • Business drivers and investor requirements around carbon targets
  • Practical approaches to setting an ambitious target
  • Scope 3 challenges and opportunities
  • Absolute versus intensity based targets
  • Approaches that are available for setting a science-based target
  • Alternatives to setting a formally approved science-base target

Participants will have the opportunity to share their experience and learn directly from technical and industry experts. Through a practical exercise, companies will identify barriers to setting meaningful carbon reduction targets, the adoption of a science-based target, as well as levers and tactics to overcome these barriers.

This is a free event but we will charge a No-show fee of $20 if cancelled less than 48 hours before the event.
